CRESTON — One man has pleaded guilty and a woman is facing trial in a drug-inspired high-speed chase case that ended with a crash. In Lincoln County Superior Court on Dec. 3, William Ray Beaver Jr., 35, of Spokane, pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence and possession of amphetamine/methamphetamine with intent to deliver. Charged with fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation, the 16-year-old Sprague boy was subsequently sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to attend counseling during a Nov. 26 hearing.
