Accomplice to be tried Feb. 12
CRESTON — One man has pleaded guilty and a woman is facing trial in a drug-inspired high-speed chase case that ended with a crash.
In Lincoln County Superior Court on Dec. 3, William Ray Beaver Jr., 35, of Spokane, pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence and possession of amphetamine/methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
Beaver changed his plea to guilty and was sentenced to 20 months in prison, 20 months probation and a $500 victim assessment fee.
The conviction was connected to an Oct. 26 high-speed chase that ended in a field near Roby Road, just off U.S. Highway 2.
