Schuh returns to teach third

ODESSA - A 2020 Odessa graduate is back in the same building, this time in front of a third-grade class.

Caitlyn Schuh, 24, started the school year as the district's new third-grade teacher. She said she came home because of the community and the culture.

Schuh graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2024 with a degree in elementary education, an emphasis in middle school mathematics, an elementary mathematics endorsement and a minor in psychology.

She taught one year in the Lamont School District as a fifth- through eighth-grade math, physical education and science teacher.
