    Kira Powell, a senior, and her younger brother Griffey, a sophomore at OHS, won the girls and boys medals, respectively, at the golf match held at the par-35 Odessa Golf Course on March 12.     The Bi-County Academic Competition for children in grades 3 through 8 was held in Reardan recently and was attended by nine area schools, including Odessa and Harrington. Awards were presented to the top six students in each category (spelling, math, speech and geography) and for each of the six grade levels. Each category had anywhere from eight to 25 participants.     The Odessa High School FBLA chapter formed a partnership with 2nd Harvest Food Bank for the purpose of learning business skills from business professionals and applying that knowledge to benefit our local community.     Michael Cronrath, social studies teacher in the Harrington School District, has announced plans for an eastern seaboard trip from Smithsonian Student Travel in 2013.
