The Shriner's Hospital in Spokane welcomed six of Harrington's agriculture students with open arms. Complete with 40 bright orange pumpkins and cookies for patients, plus brownies for the staff, Mrs. Warner's students were a welcome sight. Odessa High School senior Cole Kissler competed in the 1B/2B District 7/9 Regional Cross Country meet on Friday, October 28, in Colfax. He competed against a total of 93 other runners on a five-kilometer (3.1 mile) race at Colfax's golf course to determine which runners will move on to compete at the state cross country meet November 5 in Pasco. Friday night’s game against Almira/Coulee-Hartline was played for the league championship, with both teams undefeated to that point in the season. Senior Sage Elder led the team defensively with 10 tackles, one quarterback sack, 2.5 tackles for loss and one interception that was returned for a touchdown. "Toasty Tots" is a current FBLA project intended to provide warm clothing for Odessa children this winter. Members of the Odessa High School FBLA chapter picked and decorated 100 pumpkins. RENTON, Wash. – The WIAA has announced that its executive board voted to implement a change in format to the boys and girls state basketball tournament, while also voting to uphold the sanctions imposed by the SeaKing District 2 board on Bellevue High School football.
