At the District 7 NE 1B/2B League meet held Tuesday, April 26 at Old University High School in Spokane, Odessa-Harrington competed against the other 1B schools Columbia-Hunters, Valley Christian, Wellpinit and Wilbur-Creston. The 2B schools also present were Davenport, Mary Walker and NW Christian-Colbert.

Baseball
The baseball game against Wellpinit was moved to Odessa due to less than optimum conditions on the opponents’ home field.
The first game of the double-header was a shutout for the Titans, 18-0.

Andy Schafer was the winning pitcher. Stetson Sanford handled the catching duties through four innings before being relieved by Henneman in the fifth.
Getting doubles for Odessa-Harrington were Cade Weber and Nick Tebow. Weber also contributed a triple, as did Jared King.
The second game was another lop-sided win for O-H, 20-8.

Nick Sperline was the starting pitcher, relieved by Justin Hunt in the fourth. Sanford and Henneman shared the catching spot.
Getting two-baggers for Odessa-Harrington were Weber and Schafer. Schafer piled it on with a triple as well. Hunt also got a triple. The Titans also got a home run from Jared King.
Odessa-Harrington is now 9-5 overall and 6-2 in league play.
Tennis
In boys tennis, Reardan defeated Odessa-Harrington, 5-0, Thursday, April 28.
In the #1 singles match, Wesebaum defeated Cronrath 6-0, 6-0. In doubles, Reardan’s Nilles and Frank defeated the team of Mann and Cronrath, 8-5.
In girls tennis, Reardan also prevailed, 3-2.
Reardan’s Schulz defeated Bouchard 6-1, 6-4. and in doubles, Webster and Hall of Reardan defeated Amanda Hardt and Cydnee Kieffer in a tough match, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4.
Girls tennis team members serve aces in the classroom!
The members of the Odessa-Harrington girls tennis team under coach Jim Furman have been named Academic State Champions for 1B Girls Tennis with a combined grade-point average of 3.536.
