BBCC needs part-time teachers

Big Bend Community College is creating a pool of part-time teaching openings, both on campus and for 15 communities in the college’s service district.

A master’s degree is required to teach academic-transfer classes. Education requirements vary for teaching classes in professional/technical programs.

“There may be new people in the area with the appropriate credentials who can teach for BBCC,” said Bob Morbacher, Vice President of Instruction and Student Services. “Community colleges rely on part-time instructors to expand class offerings and meet demand.”

If you are interested in teaching part time, days or evenings, in any subject area, request an application from the BBCC Human Resources Office (793-2008). People interested in teaching on-line classes are also encouraged to inquire.

Applications are accepted throughout the year. BBCC is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
