Two wins, one loss for Titan varsity girls basketball team

Last week, the Titan girls basketball team defeated Wellpinit and Valley Christian, while in between they lost to St. John-Endicott.

The Titan girls headed out to Wellpinit Monday and picked up another win by a score of 39-36. After being down 16-6 at half time, Wellpinit came roaring back in the second half to make a game of it. The girls were able to hang on for the win, however.

Kendall Todd had a great game and scored 14 points. Chelsea Fisher had 7, Jessie Whitaker 6, Charli Moffet 5, Rebekah Marshall 4 and Jordyn Tanke 3. Carley Williams and Cydnee Kieffer also played without scoring.

O-H vs. St. John-Endicott

The game against St. John-Endicott was played in St. John last week Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top, 44-31.

Whitaker and Marshall each had 7 points to pace the Titans. Tanke had 5, Moffet and Todd 4 each, and Kieffer and Fisher 2 each. Williams, Ashley Baarstad and Kaeli Shockley also played but did not score. After a very defensive second quarter, the Eagles put the game away after half time.

O-H vs. Valley Christian

Against Valley Christian of Spokane, the varsity girls got another important league win. They defeating the Warriors 40-15.

Whitaker led the team with 13 points. Tanke had 8, Fisher and Marshall 6 each, Kieffer 5 and Todd 2. Williams, Baarstad and Shockley also played but did not score.
