O-H dominates Entiat, puts record to 4-3 for the season

The Titans upped their record for the season to four wins versus three losses with a victory over Entiat last Friday in Odessa.

The game’s first score came on a 5-yard run by Cade Weber, with the extra-point attempt no good. Most of the rest of the game was an exercise in watching Sam Schafer break away for long TD runs, the first being a 60-yarder into the endzone. Again, the extra-point attempt was unsuccessful.

Entiat put the ball into the endzone on a 1-yard run, but they, too, were unable to convert.

Justin Hunt scored the final TD of the first quarter on a 7-yard run. A pass attempt for extra points was incomplete.

In the second quarter, Schafer broke away for a 78-yard touchdown run and also ran for the two-point conversion. Schafer scored again on a 27-yard run and again ran for two more. Entiat did not score.

After the half, Entiat got the first TD on a 51-yard run. The extra-point attempt failed.

It was Schafer again for another 60-yard run for a touchdown. Hunt ran the ball for two more. Schafer also scored on a 1-yard run, followed by another successful two-point convrsion by Schafer.

In the fourth, Schafer blasted away for a 45-yard run and again ran for the extra points.

Entiat’s Delgado completed a 61-yard run but the extra-point kick attempt failed.

O-H’s final score came on a push into the endzone from the one-yard line by Dillon Dennison, who then also ran the ball for the extra points.

Entiat scored one more run on a 6-yard play with no extra points.
