Volleyball team wins two more for 5-1 league record

O-H vs. Liberty

The Odessa-Harrington Titans volleyball team defeated the Liberty High School team in an away game October 11 by 3 games to 1, with scores of 25-8, 23-25, 25-9 and 25-20.

On service, Jordyn Tanke and Kendall Todd both served 20 times with 100% accuracy.

Chelsea Fisher and Cydnee Kieffer each had three aces.

Fisher had 17 kills, and Tanke added nine more, with 25 kill assists put up by Koralynne Kuch.

“The serve-receive team of Lexi Hirst, Tanke and Kieffer did an outstanding job as well,” said head coach Ken Scherr. Tanke led the defense with 5 digs.

O-H vs. Valley Christian

On October 13, the Lady Titans traveled to Spokane, where they deteated Valley Christian in three straight, 25-15, 25-13 and 25-21.

Kieffer and Todd had three service aces each, while Hirst and Kuch each served with no misses.

Fisher had 15 kills, Tanke 10 kills and Todd 8 kills. Kuch provided 36 assists.

Defensively, Fisher had five successful blocks at the net. Jenna Schafer led the Titans with 4 digs.

The team is 15-3 overall with a record of 5-1 in league play. Upcoming games include Wilbur-Creston at home October 20, Columbia, away October 23, and ACH in Coulee City October 27.
