Kiesz training at town office

As reported in an earlier edition of The Odessa Record, there is a new face to be seen at the Town Clerk’s office these days.

Gail Kiesz, who resides southwest of Odessa, has been hired to replace current Town Clerk Linda Burghard upon her retirement at the end of the year. Kiesz will be spending the next two months learning the ropes, and will be sworn in as clerk after Burghard’s retirement is official.

Kiesz was born in Walla Walla and raised in North Idaho. She has been married to Mike Kiesz of Odessa for 32 years, and has two children, Kurt and Heidi, both graduates of OHS.

Most recently, Kiesz worked for Adams Conservation District in Ritzville. Prior to that, she worked for Wheatland Bank in Odessa, where she was known for her excellent customer service.

In her spare time, Kiesz enjoys reading and quilting, and, of course, helping with the family farm.
