Harrington School District happenings

The Harrington School District, like its neighboring districts, is gearing up for the winter break. The district will release students early (12:30 p.m.) on Friday, December 21, and school will remain closed through January 2, 2013.

But plenty of activities remain before the staff and students head off on their break.

Next week Tuesday, December 18, will be the day of Santa’s Workshop for all Harrington students (K-12). It will be open from noon to 3 p.m. That same evening at 7 p.m., K-12 students will participate in the Christmas program to be held in the school gym.

The following day, Wednesday, December 19, the Harrington Lions Club Christmas party for the class of 2013 will also begin at 7 p.m.

The high school basketball games against Liberty will be played Thursday, December 20, in the Harrington gym, and the games against Lind/Ritzville-Sprague will be played Friday in Odessa. The junior varsity games begin at 3 p.m.
