Yum, yum, yum and Fa la la la la. What do you see, taste, and hear on Christmas? December is a true delight for the senses. Read on and be prepared to hum your way through our responses with a growling stomach, as we share with you our favorite tastes, sights, and sounds of the season.

Mr. Larson: “Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!” This is a song I sing and something that I want it to do on Christmas Day. I remember this Christmas carol every year, because it reminds me of when my daughter was born. She was born around Christmas and I recall singing this song while playing with her. If you have any fudge laying around the house, then I'd be happy to take it off of your hands. Fudge is my favorite treat at Christmas time.

Douglas: I like “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” It is my favorite song. I eat chocolate chip cookies at Christmas. I open my presents from Santa in the morning.

Kaedin: My favorite song at Christmas is “Deck the Halls.” I usually eat gingerbread men. I also enjoy decorating my house.

Emily: One of my favorite songs is “Frosty the Snowman.” Don’t take my grandma’s candy cane cookies away from me, because if you do, I’ll get pretty angry. I love, at Christmas time, to run around the house with my stuffed animals.

Chloe: My favorite song is “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.” It is so funny. My funniest memory is watching my dad fall off the back of the sled, jumping back up, and getting back on the sled. The treat that I have at Christmas time is fudge. The only problem is that is really looks like poop.

Nicklas: My favorite song is “Jingle Bells.” It is so fun. I can’t wait until Christmas, because we might be going to my Grandma’s house. Turkey is always good to eat at Christmas time.

Tori: “Jingle Bells” is a lot of fun to sing. I eat pumpkin pie at Christmas time. We open a lot of presents on Christmas Eve. We love decorating our tree and house as a family.

Nathan C.: My favorite treat during Christmas time is fudge. My favorite song is “I'm Getting’ Nuthin’ for Christmas.” My favorite book and movie is “The Grinch.” One of my best Christmas memories was the time my family and I built this awesome snow fort. There was a little place you could go in and sit.

Bradly: Christmas is my favorite time and season of the year. My favorite Christmas song is “The Grinch.” I know that song by heart.

Drew: My favorite song is “Jingle Bells”...the Batman version. I like to eat funnel cake french fries with a lot of sugar on them. My favorite movie is “Arthur's Christmas.”

Nathan M.: Gingerbread cookies are the best. I like my safe gingerbread cookies. I also like a lot of toys.

Charlieigh: The song that I like to listen to on Christmas is “Jingle Bells.” The food I like to eat is candy. Caution! If you take my candy, then I’ll bite your arm off. Just kidding! I don't get candy often. A real tree helps your house smell just like Christmas.

Laney: I like it when it gets cold outside, because I like when I get inside I get hot cocoa. My mom puts mint in the hot cocoa.

Daeton: My favorite song is “Let it Snow!” It is a good song. If you take my food away from me, then I will jump on you like a frog. I eat a lot of food.

Tianna: I like “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” It is a good song to listen to. I like to eat turtle cheesecake. It is so soft. If you take a bite of mine, then I will get you. I know where you are sleeping. Keep one eye open. :)
