Titan boys get another split in last weekend's action

The Titan boys had no trouble defeating T-O, with inside passes that no one blocked and that resulted in two points nearly every time. The game was just as lopsided as the girls game, but this time with the Titans coming out on top,

Justin Hunt led the Titan offense with 14 points. Cade Weber had 11, Jake Tanke 9 and Sam Schafer 6. Madison Charlton, Markus Smith and Shane Whitaker each scored 5 points, and Justin Hauge and Jacob DeWulf scored 2 each. Nick Tebow also played but did not score. Every player on the bench got to play.

Jacob DeWulf led the rebounding with 11 and Markus Smith added another 8.

Against Cusik Saturday, the Odessa-Harrington boys had the lead at the end of the first quarter, and maintained it throughout the first half. The second half was a different story, however, as the Cusik players stepped up their level of play, defeating the Titans, 60-53.

Hunt had 12 points and Smith had 10. Charlton, Schafer and Tanke each had 7, Weber added 6 and DeWulf 4.

Defensively, Schafer used his jumping ability to bring down a total of rebounds for the Titans, followed by DeWulf who had 8.
