Opera House Progress
For the past seven years the Harrington Opera House has used spotlights or work lights for the stage lighting depending on the type of performance to be given. The Opera House Society obtained two grants to cover the expense of the first phase of new stage lighting. These grants, the Florence Wasmer grant (a part of the Inland Northwest Community Foundation) and The Building For the Arts Grant from Washington state (the largest share), covered the expense of the parts and installation of two of the six rows of professional stage lighting.
