Odessa schools list students achieving 1st quarter honor roll

Odessa Junior-Senior High School has released its first- quarter list of students on the honor roll and those receiving honorable mention. A student must have a grade point average of 3.50-4.00 to be on the honor roll, and honorable mention requires a grade point average of 3.25-3.49. Grade values are based on the state transcript requirements and are as follows: A=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3.0, B-= 2.7, C+=2.3, C=2.0, C-=1.7, D+=1.3, D=1.0, F=0.0.

High school

Seniors Hannah Schmidt, Chelsea Fisher, Carley Williams, Garret Braun, Jacob DeWulf and Alexa Boss achieved the honor roll.

Honorable mention went to Hope Marshall and Kimberly Nelson.

Juniors Jenna Shafer, Carsen Weber, Thorsen Wehr (4.0) and Katelyn Worley made the honor roll.

Honorable mention went to Sam Schafer.

Sophomores Stacia Lesser, Alexis Burdick, Katie DeWulf, Casey Schlomer, Caleb Singer and Max Greenwalt were on the honor roll.

Honorable mention went to Makayla Baird and Hunter Bramer.

Freshmen Elizabeth Larson (4.0), Brad Johnston, Chance Messer, Rebecca Fortner, John DeWulf, Zoe Clark, Molly Schafer, Colby Sooy and Cole Kissler made the honor roll.

Honorable mention went to Aaron Gies, Wyatt Haase and Keisha McNeil.

Junior high

8th graders Hannah Sheldon, Colton Hunt, Kiegan Wehr, Danielle Tebow and Noah Anderson were on the honor roll.

Honorable mention went to Maleah Davison and Ana Neeley-Bockman.

7th graders Victoria Weishaar (4.0), Megan Shafer, Kassidy Crossley, Theron Schlomer and Brenna Carstensen made the honor roll.

No 7th graders received honorable mention.

6th graders Ireland Luiten, Camden Weber (4.0), Eric Johnston, Maddy Wagner, Caitlyn Schuh, Paige Lee, Ryan Moffet, McKennah Davison and Jaden Hunt were named to the honor roll.

Honorable mention went to Marcus King, Joshua Clark, Kaitlyn Zagelow and Makayla Nelson.
