JV girls won two late-season two-quarter b-ball games

The junior varsity girls won against Wellpinit and Wilbur-Creston. Both games lasted only two quarters.

Wellpinit

On Friday, January 31, against Wellpinit, the JV girls eked out a one-point win.

Lanessa Simon led the team with 12 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 steals; Isabelle Phillips had 5 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals; Robbie Kieffer 4 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal; Maleah Davison 2 points, 6 rebounds; Evie Mann 2 points; Alexis Burdick 1 point; Amber Smith 1 rebound; Zoe Clark 1 point, 5 rebounds.

Wilbur-Creston

On Saturday, February 1, the JV girls defeated the Wildcats, 23-15, in another game that went two quarters.

Simon again led the offense with 17 points, 2 rebounds, 4 steals. Davison had 2 points, as did Kieffer. Burdick had 1 point, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal; Phillips 1 point, 1 rebound, 1 steal; Clark 1 rebound, 1 assist; Mann 1 rebound.
