First half-year property taxes, assessments due April 30

Lincoln County Treasurer, Linda Fisher, has completed the 2014 tax & assessment roll for collection and is providing notification the Treasurer’s Office shall now accept payment and issue receipts for the 2014 taxes and assessments as required by RCW 84.56.020.

2014 Lincoln County Tax statements are scheduled to be mailed the third week of February 2014.

Taxpayers who do not receive their statement need to contact the County Treasurer’s Office, 450 Logan, Davenport, WA or (509) 725-5061 or etreasurer@co.lincoln.wa.us . Tax information may be accessed at http://www.co.lincoln.wa.us/treasurer .

First half taxes are due on or before April 30th. Payments postmarked or paid in person after April 30, 2014, will incur interest and penalties.

Delinquent real property tax, weed, soil and fire patrol assessments and noxious weed liens for 2011 and prior are subject to foreclosure. To avoid the start of foreclosure proceedings, payment must be received or postmarked by April 30, 2014.

Any taxpayer whose mortgage company has requested their tax statement will not receive a 2014 tax statement. The original statement is sent to your mortgage company. Lincoln County Treasurer’s office hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
