INCIDENT LOG

Monday, April 28: Harrington ambulance personnel assisted a 71-year-old woman with a history of cancer who was experiencing extreme sweats and fever.

Sprague firefighters and ambulance personnel responded to a one-vehicle collision with a deer on I-90. The driver was transported to Spokane where he was treated at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

An Odessa woman told dispatchers about a phone call from someone claiming to be working with the Washington State Fraud Investigation Unit who demanded that money be sent to Texas to avoid being arrested.

Deputies checked out a boat that had mysteriously been abandoned in tall grass adjacent to the Sprague Chevron station.

Personnel at Davenport City Hall requested a deputy's assistance with a man who became "upset" and "extremely agitated."

Emergency personnel responded to the 600 block of Maxwell Street in Davenport to assist a woman who had fallen in the bathroom of her home.

Tuesday, April 29: Sprague customers of Avista Utilities experienced a planned overnight electrical outage.

Dispatchers took a call from a Sprague woman concerned about possible casing of a residence by a suspicious vehicle with two male occupants in the 600 block of West 2nd Street.

Deputies investigated a possible child abuse incident in the Almira area.

A caller reported three male occupants of a vehicle parked at Davenport Family Foods were passing around a silver cigarette box containing pills.

A Wilbur man reported the theft of first-issue Time and Life magazines from a building on property adjacent to Apache Pass.

Vandalism was reported to an old farmhouse on property adjacent to Swanson Lake Road.

Deputies checked on a possible methamphetamine and marijuana operation in the Lincoln area.

Wilbur EMTs assisted a 16-year-old girl who experienced breathing difficulties after returning home from a softball game.

Reardan Police took a report from a caller who claimed that the town's mayor and another man were "trespassing" on his property in the 300 block of East Railroad. A responding officer found no one at the property.

Wednesday, April 30: No one was reported injured in a two-vehicle collision on Morgan Street near Davenport Family Foods.

A loose pit bull dog was reported in the vicinity of Tenth and Jefferson streets in Davenport.

Davenport ambulance personnel assisted a man who was observed going in and out of consciousness at the high school tennis courts.

A strong diesel-like odor was reported near Davenport Lanes and could have been sourced in an application of Roundup earlier in the evening.

Odessa Police investigated a theft at Quail Courts.

Thursday, May 1: Livestock was reported at-large on Hume Road near SR 25 north of Davenport in the recently designated stock-restricted area.

A Harrington woman reported several screws had been removed from her front screen door in the 100 block of North First Street. A responding deputy surmised that the screws had been stripped out of the "very old wooden" door and found no evidence of forced entry.

Avista Utilities handled repair work after a construction crew hit a gas line in the 600 block of Morgan Street in Davenport.

An elderly man who was rushed by Reardan EMTs and Davenport ambulance personnel to the Reardan football field to await transport by MedStar air ambulance to a Spokane hospital died before he could be placed on the aircraft.

Friday, May 2: A collision involving a vehicle and a deer took place on SR 2 just east of Creston.

Sprague firefighters participated in a training burn in the vicinity of SR 231 and Brown Road.

Deputies responded to a report of a Creston student who threatened to "kill everyone" at the local school because she "hates" it so much.

A 40-year-old man with very short blond hair and "lots of tattoos" raised suspicions of US Bank personnel when he came into the Sprague branch and tried to sell produce.

No one was reported hurt in a two-vehicle collision on Sixth Street outside The Bakery and Café in Davenport.

Deputies responded to reports of unwanted individuals and disputes involving residents of Sprague and the Wilbur area.

A man driving a white van stopped by the Davenport skate park and began yelling at kids there. Alcohol may have been a factor.

A Reardan man reported he was being kept awake by six to eight juveniles running through his yard in the 200 block of South Elm.

Saturday, May 3: An occupant of an apparently sinking boat on Sprague Lake about 100 feet from shore was observed bailing water from it. A responding deputy was unable to locate it, finding that the only boat on the lake was anchored in a bay.

Deputies responded to reports of possible drug-related activity in the Reardan area.

In Sprague, a Kathy's Market employee phoned in her concern that she may have unwittingly sold alcohol to a minor. The customer supplied identification information listing her age as 23, but the employee subsequently heard she may be 16.

A collision involving a vehicle and deer was reported on SR 28 just east of Lamona.

Sunday, May 4: A Colville man was killed and another injured in a head-on collision involving two vehicles on Miles Creston Road at Seven Bays Road. The injured man, a Wenatchee resident, was transported by MedStar air ambulance to a Spokane hospital.

Davenport Safeway personnel shared their concerns about a pregnant woman who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol while in the store.

April 29: James C. Linville, 73, Davenport, arrested by Lincoln County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) for driving while under the influence.

April 30: Christopher James Groff, 28, Lamont, arrested by LCSO for failing to appear for hit and run unattended and driving while license suspended.

May 2: Dylan E. Timpani, 25, Moses Lake, arrested by LCSO for second-degree burglary (two counts), taking a motor vehicle without the owner's permission (three counts) and first-degree theft.

May 3: Darcy J. Tomayko, 19, Reardan, arrested by LCSO for third-degree theft (two counts).

May 5: Eddie A. Johnson, 34, Reardan, confined 30 days by the court for failing to appear for driving while under the influence.
