About a dozen veterans gathered in the school multipurpose room on November 10, along with the entire study body, for a program in honor of those who have served their country. Ryan Scrupps, right front, was the featured speaker.
The 2015 Veterans Day dinner and continuous membership awards program were held November 11 in the social hall of Heritage Church in Odessa. Members of VFW Post #7395 and American Legion Post #105 organized the program and their auxiliary members cooked and served the turkey, potatoes, stuffing and gravy for the dinner. The side dishes and desserts were provided as potluck items donated by those who attended the dinner.
