Elementary holiday concert

Odessa music students from pre-school through sixth grade will present their holiday concert on Thursday, December 17, beginning at 7 p.m. in the school multi-purpose room under the leadership of school musical director Craig Holman.

Sure highlights will be the pre-school and kindergarten, the fifth-grade band taking part in their first public performance, the sixth-grade band playing a mix of traditional and contemporary music, plus first through fourth grades combined into a large choir singing songs of the season. There is also a rumor that Santa might arrive with goodies for all the younger children following the program.

The public is encouraged to attend and help the youngsters celebrate the season through music.

Holman also announced that the Community Birthday Calendars have arrived. Those who haven’t received their calendars by Tuesday, December 22, are asked contact him at the school.
