Titan boys humbled

Coming off a weekend of wins, the Odessa-Harrington Titan boys had a disheartening week of losses.

On Tuesday, February 2, the Titans were battered by the ACH Warriors by a final score of 27 - 82.

At the half the Warriors were up by 36 points and, like the Energizer bunny, they just kept going and going.

Dylan Shockley led the Titans with nine points, a rebound and an assist. All nine of those points were three-pointers. Colton Hunt and Colt Sanford each had four points. Hunt also had three rebounds, four assists and a steal, while Sanford had a rebound, two assists and a block. Jayd Jennings and John Tanke each had three points. Jennings’ points were scored on a three-point shot. He also had a rebound, an assist and a steal. William Mann and Aaron Gies had two points and a rebound apiece.

The Titans were defeated by 17 points when they played the Wellpinit Redskins on Thursday, February 4.

Hunt led with 23 points, 12 of them three-pointers. He also had six rebounds, four assists and a steal. Sanford was close on his heels with 22 points, nine rebounds and two assists. Shockley had 3 points (one bucket from three-point range), a rebound, an assist and a steal. Jennings and Mann had two points and four rebounds apiece, with Jennings also getting six assists and a steal.

Next up for the Titan boys is a district playoff game at Selkirk Tuesday, February 9 at 6 p.m.
