FFA members busy with activities

Jordan Larmer and Patrick Velverde, members of the Odessa High School FFA chapter, attended a conference at the Cispus Learning Center in Randall, Wash., led by state and past national FFA officers.

The conference theme was 212º – the temperature at which water boils. It focused on taking students to the boiling point of leadership. At 211º water is extremely hot, but just one more degree gets us to the next level, the boiling point. These conferences focus on the development of the individual student.
