Tribute: Cheree Hope Raugust

Cheree Hope Raugust died August 14, 2016 at the age of 88.

She was born September 1, 1927, in Spokane to Elroy and Hope Reinemer. She was an only child. Cheree received her elementary education degree from Washington State University and later her bachelor's degree. Cheree was an elementary school teacher for the Moses Lake school district for many years before retiring. She loved teaching and felt each child was special in his/her own way. Cheree married the love of her life, William Raugust, Jr., in Spokane on August 15, 1964.

Cheree leaves behind a daughter and close friend, Maria Hartman and a great granddaughter, Caden Essex.

"Mom, I'll never forget our special chicken strip lunches, root beer floats, our talks, watching football and the love you showed to those around you. "Caden is still dancing mom, so keep watching." Special thanks to Summerwood Alzheimer's Facility, Laurie Ahman and Chelsea LPN.

Please sign our online guestbook at http://www.stratefuneralhome.com. Strate Funeral Home in Davenport is caring for the family.
