Night prowlers stealing from cars

In the wee hours of last Thursday morning, roughly between 4:10 and 4:16 a.m., a male prowler was seen on surveillance video tape walking west on Second Avenue before turning south onto Division Street. The owners of two cars on Division Street have reported that persons unknown had rummaged through the contents of their cars during that same night, with items reported missing from one of the cars. Surveillance video has provided police with a description of the prowler.
