Opening day results for Marlin, Odessa Gun Clubs

Top shooters at the Odessa Gun Club on Sunday during opening day of the Spokesman-Review Trapshoot contest were Steve Telecky shooting a perfect 25, Josh Houck with 24, Traig Weishaar 23, Steven Sainsbury 22 and Jared Praetorius 21.

Finishing at 20 and under were Jon Fink, Kiegan Wehr, Pilot Weishaar, Colton Messer, Lane Lobe, Daeton Deife, Stan Dammel, Deric Schmierer, Brandon Larmer, Cody Larmer, Trevor Smith, Ryan King, Brian Wraspir, Daniel Mann, Gene Mann, Rod Herron, Nathan Luck and Ricky Hedreen.

High handicap shooters were Daniel Mann and Stan Dammel, high junior was Lane Lobe and high sub junior was Pilot Weishaar.

Marlin

On January 8, the Marlin Gun Club’s Kevin Myre found himself to be the only member to shoot a perfect score of 25. Shooting 24 were Jan Jensen, Dave Asker, Mark Iksic, Mark Edwins, Dan Asker and Scott Mortimer.

Rich Swanson, Mike French, Jim Imbert, Bill James, Carmen Eckhart and Jim Schell all shot 23, while Dennis Klemmer, Mark Brashear, Austin Nelson, Tyler Greenwalt and Josh Gray shot 22.

Shooting 21 were Tristan Rocha, Doug Brashear, Shelby Brashear and Camden Eckhart.

In the 20 and under category were Jeff Norley, Gage Starkel, Taeven Brashear, Jeremy Dillon, Ken Thompson, Ken Eckhart, Susan James, Noel Bowden, Brent Finkbeiner, Brian Finkbeiner, Jakob Starkel, Jake Bennett, Daryl Kimble, Jessie True, Landon Ribail, Dusty Kimble, Keeva Kimble, Cody Follett, Kass Kimble, Rob Imbert, Jeff Greenwalt, Kylie Castillo and Ron Lesser.

Jan Jensen, Dave Asker and Mark Brashear had the high handicap.
