Knowledge Bowl team fourth at state

Odessa High School's Knowledge Bowl team finished fourth at the state tournament held March 18 in Arlington, Wash.: Kiegan Wehr, Thomas Parham, Rebecca Fortner, Cole Kissler, Molly Schafer and Elizabeth Larson.

The Odessa High School Knowledge Bowl team headed to Arlington, Wash. this past weekend for the state competition and brought home fourth place. Final standings for the state's 1B schools were:

1. Pope John Paul II

2. West Sound Academy

3. Waitsburg

4. Odessa

5. Riverside Christian

6. Almira/Coulee-Hartline

Members of the state varsity team for Odessa were Cole Kissler (the team captain), Molly Schafer, Elizabeth Larson, Kiegan Wehr, Rebecca Fortner and Thomas Parham.
