Partial LC Fair results; more results next week

A partial listing of the awards won by area residents at the Lincoln County Fair follows below. The results of the livestock judging will be provided in next week's paper.

In the Open/Adult classification, Michelle Hayashi of Odessa entered her whole wheat sourdough in the baking category and received both the Best Wheat Award and the Red Star Yeast Award.

In Open/Adult classification of the canning category, Jennifer Lewis of Odessa won a Special Award for her sliced dill pickles.

In Grain, Grass & Weeds, Open/Junior competitor Mason Lewis of Odessa won Best of Show for his Grain Sheave SW Otto.

Open/Junior competitor Morgan Lewis of Odessa won Best of Show for her drawing of a Ranch/Farm Scene.

In Knitting and Crocheting, Open/Adult competitor Vivianne Poe of Odessa won Best of Show for her crocheted shawl.

In the Photography, Open/Teen category, Jonathan Hayashi of Odessa Sunset won Best of Show for his sunset scene and another Best of Show for his cherry blossoms scene.

Also in the Open/Teen category, Riley Roller of Harrington won Best of Show for his purple clematis.

In the Photography, Open/Adult category, Susan Jensen of Odessa won Best of Show for Job Site Mack. She won the People's Choice Award for Golden Hour.

Also in the Open Adult category, Cindy Lee of Harrington won a Special Award for Frosty Morning.

Getting creative with Legos in the Open/Teen category, David Hayashi of Odessa won a Special Award for Fight at the Tree Forts.

In the same category, Jonathan Hayashi of Odessa won Best of Show for Millaneum Falcon.
