Operation "LEAN On Us" by FBLA is in full swing

Operation LEAN On Us is underway. The goal of this FBLA community service project is to support Odessa senior citizens. The first phase of the project "N" is to cook for Odessa senior citizens who are in need of home-cooked meals. Last year FBLA members delivered 500 meals to Odessa seniors who were very grateful for the assistance.

To raise money to fund this project, FBLA members have made over 150 carameled apples and are selling them by donation at local events. Carameled apples are currently available at Washington Federal Bank. All proceeds will be used to purchase ingredients to cook meals. With a goal of raising $1,000 for 500 meals, members have $415 to go. The public's donations are greatly appreciated and will benefit many people in the community.
