Tiger Booster Club awarded grant from Northwest Farm Credit Services

SPOKANE, Wash. (April 12, 2018) – Northwest Farm Credit Services is proud to award the Odessa Athletic Booster Club in Odessa a $1,500 Northwest FCS Rural Community Grant.

"The Odessa Athletic Booster Club would like to express our very sincere "Thank You" for your support of our field improvement project," said Club Board Member Carmen Weishaar. "The Odessa Athletic Field is not only a location for school sporting events, but also a gathering place for many of Odessa's community activities. Your generous grant support will make a great impact on our efforts to rejuvenate the entire field's surface. Northwest FCS has always been a steady presence to our largely agricultural-based community and we appreciate your support of our local communities."

Northwest FCS is committed to helping rural communities succeed. In 2017, Northwest Farm Credit Services committed over $250,000 to 171 projects in rural communities across Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Since the program's inception in 2007, it has awarded 871 grants totaling more than $1.55 million.
