Live auction has many new items

Gather your friends and make plans to attend the 27th Annual Wine Tasting, Microbrew Sampling & Auction this Friday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Odessa Community Center. The live auction will showcase many fantastic items and here are some of the NEW donations you will see this year:

Get ready to turn up the dial and start up the Pit Boss 820 Deluxe Pellet Grill. You will be able to bake a pizza, smoke up some ribs or sear a steak with the delicious flavor imparted by the wood pellets. With a wide range of cooking temperatures, you can utilize the digital control board to precisely cook up whatever is on the menu. It comes complete with four bags of flavored pellets and is donated by Barbara Schlimmer.

Need a gift for Mother’s Day? Be sure to take the beautiful sofa table home, donated by Robin and Juli Weishaar and Nancy Floether, and handcrafted by MannMade Designs.

What better time to explore a galaxy far, far away than with a Star Wars movie package for six. This includes AMC gift cards, a gift certificate for dinner at Red Robin, and one-of-a-kind Star Wars: Solo merchandise. May the Fourth (force) be with you! This package was donated by Green Hollow Properties.

Kick off the next football season with a tailgate party donated by the students of the Odessa FBLA. Eight to 10 people will be treated to food and drinks at the first home football game on September 21, 2018 – in the battle of the Tigers: Odessa vs. Republic. All proceeds from this item will go directly to the Odessa FBLA in support of their oral health program at school.

It will be a night to remember with round-trip transportation to and from Spokane for up to 10 people in a luxury limo or limo bus. Enjoy dinner at Clinkerdagger’s, then a show at the Spokane Comedy Club. Reservations must be made in advance. This service expires December 31, 2018, and has been donated by Odessa Office Equipment.

Picture the sun shining, a warm breeze and a lazy river to take your cares away. Up to 10 people can float the Spokane River on a raft trip hosted by Dr. Michael Condon. Enjoy the scenery of ponderosa pines tucked within the water’s edge and eagles and osprey soaring overhead. Lunch, drinks and all equipment provided. This package must be used by late June or early July 2018.

Two anglers can enjoy a full day of guided walleye fishing on the Potholes Reservoir. All tackle, bait and fishing equipment will be provided. Don’t forget to pack your camera to capture the highlights of your trip. Donated by BJ’s Guide Services and Kinder Haus Child Care.
