Meet your neighbors

"Community--a group of people living in the same place, a feeling of fellowship with others, sharing common attitudes, interest and goals." In the town of Odessa are a variety of communities where we try to work together and help and encourage one another. That's what makes Odessa a special place to us. We are still in love with this wonderful place and all the awesome people that make this town what it is.

And with that, let me introduce you to Mike and Jennifer Drury. Mike was born in May of 1968 in Spokane. He grew up with two sisters and one brother, Mike being the oldest. He went to school at North Central High and spent most of his life in Spokane except for two years when he lived in Beaverton, Ore., where he worked as a manager in an auto shop. He tells me he loves working on cars and small engines. Mike says his specialty is in lawnmowers and vacuum repair. Other experiences that came his way throughout his life were welding and cabinet building. Mike says his hobbies are drag racing cars and motorcycles.

Jennifer was born September 1983 in Libby, Mont. She was raised in Orient, Wash. and lived there for 25 years. She is the oldest of nine children. When she was nine years old she helped her mother on cleaning jobs and that is one of her specialties today. She also works on computers and does some legal work. Mike and Jennifer work as a team on cleanups, plumbing and painting. Jennifer graduated from Kettle Falls High School in 2002. After graduation she worked at Pitney Bowes in collections and dispatching. Some of Jennifer's hobbies are painting, coloring and sewing. She says she is really good at organizing and it is something she really loves doing.

Mike and Jennifer met on Valentines day in 2007 and were married in September of the same year. They have a cute and friendly dog whose name is Princess. Jennifer also delivers pizzas for Rolling Thunder Pizza, so if you would like to meet them and get to know about this couple, just mosey on down to the Rolling Thunder on any weekend and enjoy a pizza while you are there.
