BY DYANNE DEERING

Like a streak of hungry Tigers coming upon a pack of sleeping caribou, the OHS Tigers devoured Waterville/ Mansfield in Friday night's Sausage Bowl. The game's final score was 83 to 0. The Tigers are now 3 and 0 for the season.

The Tiger defense was, as announcer Clark Kagele put it, "like a raging sea of orange foam," keeping anything and anyone from getting through. The Tigers had an astounding 78 tackles in the game, with Drew Hardung and Josh Clark leading the team with 7 and 8 tackles, respectively.

Marcus King and Pilot Weishaar had an amazing 18 points apiece, followed by Drew Hardung, Brady Walter, Daeton Deife, Josh Clark and Tim DeWulf with six points each. This team doesn't follow up their touchdowns with one extra point. The conversion is where they take it. The tigers had a total of 14 points from conversion plays, as well as three field goals kicking.

The OHS Tigers' next game is against Pateros this Friday in Pateros at 7 p.m. So drive on up to Pateros and cheer them on to another victory. Go Tigers!
