Tigers whomp Neah Bay, play Quilcene Saturday

By DYANNE DEERING

The OHS Tigers dispatched the Neah Bay Red Devils in Saturday morning's game at Lions Field in Moses Lake, crushing the Red Devils by a score of 71 to 8 and giving the Tigers a 12 - 0 record on the season.

As they have all season, the Tigers took control from the beginning of the game. The OHS Tigers dominated Neah Bay 59 - 0 by halftime.

Neah Bay did manage to come out of halftime and score a touchdown, but all in all, they were no match for the 2018 streak of Tigers. Even though some of the Red Devils were twice the size of the Tigers, OHS powered through to the win.

The Tiger team has obviously worked hard throughout the season to achieve their 12 - 0 status, averaging 268.8 rushing yards per game, 156.5 passing yards per game, 425.1 total yards per game, 43.0 tackles per game, 2.6 sacks per game and 70.2 points per game. This fan couldn't be prouder of them.

Some of the team leaders are as follows:

Marcus King 121.1 rushing yards per game.

Camden Weber 143.1 passing yards per game.

Marcus King 182.1 total yards per game.

Marcus King 7.1 tackles per game.

Tim DeWulf .7 sacks per game.

Marcus King 28.2 points per game.

The Tigers next game will be against Quilcene at the Apple Bowl in Wenatchee on November 24 beginning at 4 p.m. So put on your orange and black and head out to the land of apples to cheer on this amazing team.
