Tigers win one, lose two in prior week's action

On Tuesday, January 15, the lady Tigers took on the Oakesdale Nighthawks in Odessa. Despite an intense fight the Tigers lost the battle, 53 to 34.

High scorer in the game was McKennah Davison with a total of 9 points. She was followed closely by Grace Nelson with 8 points, Caitlyn Schuh with 6, Maddy Wagner 4, Ashlyn Neilsen with 3, Kenadie Elder and Emily Scrupps both with 2 points.

The lady Tigers had a total of 28 rebounds, with 3 assists and 10 steals. Unfortunately, with 24 turnovers the Tigers weren’t quite able to keep up with the Nighthawks and lost the game.

The next game was on January 18 against ACH. The Warriors were able to come out on top of the Tigers 64 to 30.

Top scorers in the game were Kenadie Elder and Maddy Wagner with 6 points each. Next were Brenna Carstensen 5, McKennah Davison and Caitlyn Schuh 4 each, Emily Scrupps and Grace Nelson 2 each and Ashlyn Neilsen with 1.

The lady Tigers had a total of 25 rebounds, 2 assists and 9 steals on the game. Unfortunately, with 27 turnovers, the Tigers weren’t quite able to come out on top.

On January 19, the Tigers played against the Republic Tigers. The lady Tigers put up a fierce fight, mauling the other Tigers, 56 to 16, and showing them how it is done.

High scorer in the game was Maddy Wagner with 13. Next was Kenadie Elder with 10, McKennah Davison 9, Emily Scrupps 8, Caitlyn Schuh 5, Naomi Smith 4, Maddie Scrupps 3 and Tori Schlomer and Brenna Carstensen 2 each.

The Tigers had a total of 36 rebounds in the game. There were 12 assists and 28 steals, making it virtually impossible for the Republic Tigers to keep up.
