Fireworks cause concern over past race weekend

Concerning the fireworks of Friday, March 29, 2019 and Saturday, March 30, 2019.

Friday night was bad for noise. Saturday sounded like a war zone. Two large blasts around 8 p.m. shook our house and rattled our windows, and we live across town from the race site, on the outskirts.

No consideration was given to people who have PTSD or animals that may be affected by the noise. I didn’t know any fireworks were going to happen, I only found out after calling law enforcement [and learning] that a permit was granted.
