Charleigh's Garden, the qyuilt made, donated and being raffled by Experience Quilts! to help Charleigh Cornett raise the funds necessary for her to attend a STEM program this summer.
"We were so impressed with Odessa High School student Charleigh Cornett when she came and spoke to us about her interest in a future in medicine, we wanted to do something to help her," say the owners of Experience Quilts! Our way of helping is to offer to raffle off one of our quilts to help her get to the program she wants to attend this summer.
This will be a short-term raffle, so don't delay. Stop in at Experience Quilts! and purchase one (or preferably more) tickets to win our "Charleigh's Garden" quilt. Tickets cost $1 each or six for $5. The drawing will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 14.
Experience Quilts! has a history of donating quilts to the Odessa Healthcare Foundation, military veterans, OHS Booster Club and other local organizations. This is our first effort at raising money ourselves for an individual. We hope it's a big success!
