Grant to LC Sheriff's Office buys AEDs

Lincoln County Sheriff Wade W. Magers has issued each of his deputies a new Automated External Defibrillator. This emergency medical equipment has been proven to save lives. The equipment was purchased with grant funds awarded to the Sheriff's Office. Each AED costs more than $1,500. Grant funding made the purchase possible.
Last year, the Sheriff's Office was able to acquire four units. Thanks to the grant funding, every road deputy and supervisor now has an AED. There is also an AED in the Sheriff's Office that can be used there and in surrounding offices if needed. The Lincoln County Co...
