Last updated 9/16/2019 at 11:12am

Odessa’s streets are to be swept this week and next, and the fire department will wash sidewalks Tuesday evening, Sept. 17, at 5 p.m.

JonathINNs has a new bright yellow trailer from which it will be selling its food this year. They are offering several kinds of sausage, as well as a chicken plate. They’ll also be selling T-shirts this year.

Experience Quilts! to have quilt, fabric sales.

Thursday evening (Sept. 19) to Sunday (Sept. 22) mid-morning: No parking on First Ave. in downtown business district.

Vendors will be located on N. Division as well as on First Avenue in the parking areas, as the Chamber attempts to draw visitors to businesses west of the SR21/SR28 intersection (Alder/First Ave.)

The outdoor stage will provide a hub of activity all weekend long, with music of many different genres, contests for best kuchen, best pickle and “kutest K-nine,” as well as a local talent show that should not be missed.

The Biergarten indoor stage this year has several new and exciting bands, as well as many old favorites.

If you are looking for a fun time, offer your services either behind the bar or on the floor in the Biergarten by giving Gina a call at 509-742-0451. There are slots left to fill, and Fest is only a week away!

Anyone who has last-minute updates to activities that are happening during Fest or knowledge of changes to events or times, please notify The Record by calling 509-982-2632 and let us know. We will get the word out.
