Tiger boys on the march to 1B state tournament

Odessa vs. Valley Christian

On February 7, the Tigers played a rematch against VC at home in Odessa. The Tigers also took this one, 66 to 50.

Ryan Moffet was once again high scorer with 29 points, as well as being named Maxpreps Player of the Game. He was followed by Camden Weber and Jett Nelson with 12 points each.

Tim DeWulf hauled in 11 rebounds to pace the defense. Nelson had five steals, and Moffet handed off seven assists. Marcus King did not suit up due to injury.

Odessa vs. Republic

On February 11, the Tigers played their first district playoff game against Republic at home in Odessa.

Moffet scored 32 points, with good backup from Nelson with 21 (named Maxprep's Player of the Game) and Daeton Deife who added 16. King was still not suited up.

Senior Joshua Clark, who played basketball his freshman year but then sat out his sophomore and junior years, played his first game of the season against Republic after recovering from a broken hand incurred during football season. He came back strong, scoring seven points and leading the team in rebounds with eight.

Weber had two blocked shots, and Deife, Eric Johnston and DeWulf each had one blocked shot.
