Council approves final sewer lagoon contract

DAVENPORT – The sewer lagoons owned by the city on the northeast side of town north of the baseball fields off McInnis Roads will be farmed by Matt Schneider on a 2/3-1/3 profit agreement. Council approved a final, five-year contract between the city and Schneider at its March 24 meeting.

Schneider will receive two-thirds of the crop, while the city will receive one-third, with an equivalent cost-covering process.
