More resignations at Davenport School District
Board gives approval to advertise vacant positions

DAVENPORT – The school board accepted six more resignations at its March 29 regular meeting, bringing the number of accepted resignations in 2021 to nine.
Altogether, the district is losing over 100 years of experience to retirement. While district leadership doesn’t yet know exactly how it will fill all the vacant positions without breaking the bank, the board did give approval to at least begin advertising the positions so leadership can get a feel for who might be interested in working for the district.
