ODESSA – After two meets, the Odessa High School girls and boys track and field teams have shown much promise despite having only nine members combined on its rosters. Head coach Travis Schuh said he was pleasantly surprised at how well some of them were performing right out of the starting gate.

The Valley Christian Jamboree was held in Spokane Valley on March 25, where the host team took the top spots with both of their teams. The Odessa boys finished fifth, and the Odessa girls finished tenth. For the girls, freshman Hayden Schuh showed she will be someone to watch as she placed first...
