Eight races contested after early filing week

DAVENPORT—Early filing week ended with 88 candidates filing for 70 offices in Lincoln County. In the Davenport, Harrington, Sprague, Reardan and Edwall area, eight races are contested. In some races, open positions had no filings, while in some others, incumbents didn’t file for re-election.

Here are all the local filings, beginning with all contested races. Incumbents are indicated, whether they filed or not. Following local filings will be unfilled positions.

A three-day special filing period will be held this summer strictly for positions where no one filed. Exact filing dates for that special filing period haven’t been set. Eight positions locally received no filers.
