DAVENPORT--Today, the NE2B basketball playoffs begin, and the final schedule was finalized last night after the league athletic directors met until 10 p.m. to tie up loose odds and ends. The playoffs will be eight teams for both boys and girls over three days for each tournament in a single-elimination format. Teams finishing lower than eighth place didn't qualify, and their season is over.
The Davenport girls finished with the highest seed of any local school, garnering the No. 3 spot on the girls side. They'll host the rival Reardan Indians, who finished with the No. 6 seed, Tuesday at...
