Sheriff Wade Magers’ arraignment in Lincoln County District Court July 7 has been changed to 1 p.m. He was originally scheduled to appear at 10 a.m.

Magers is appearing on charges of obstructing a law enforcement officer, making false or misleading statements to a public servant and rendering criminal assistance in the third degree in relation to a single-car crash involving his son Colton Magers in February.

The case will be presided over by Garfield County District Court Judge Thomas W. Cox after Lincoln County District Court Judge Dan B. Johnson removed himself from the case.
