WEISER, Idaho - Davenport resident Barb Curtis took third place in the Senior Senior Division of the National Old Time Fiddle Contest on Thursday, June 24.

Senior Seniors are aged 70 and older.

This was Curtis's third appearance, and she improved her position for the second straight time.

Twelve contestants were entered in the division playing three rounds of three tunes each.

All played without music present and with accompanists of their choice on either guitars, mandolins or bass. Instruments were all acoustic.
