Davenport Elementary kindergartner Natasha Alexander is dropped off at school by her grandfather, Cliff Warwick Wednesday, Sept. 1. Superintendent Jim Kowalkowski said the first day of school was overwhelming, but went well overall as enrollment is higher than the district expected. Davenport and Harrington started school Aug. 31, while Reardan started Sept. 1.
