Worth the wait for postponed holiday meal

The Veterans' Day dinner held Nov. 18 in the social hall at Heritage Church was a week later than originally planned because some American Legion/VFW members were unable to participate on Nov. 11. It was worth the wait, as a hungry crowd of Odessa residents and visitors participated in a program that was interesting, informative and inspiring.
