DAVENPORT – The high and middle school winter concert was held in front of a full house in the school auditorium here Wednesday evening, Dec. 15. Performances by both choirs and bands entertained the audiences.
Choir director Helen Adams first led the middle school chamber choir in performances of "Amani Utupe," which is Swahili for "Grant Us Peace, Give Us Courage." The choir also performed "Medieval Gloria," a Latin praise and "Music in the Air."
Band director Rob Harper then led the junior high band in performances of "Frosty the Snowman," "The Chipmunk Song" and "Trombones on the Housetop....
